First year cane, will produce raspberries in year 2. Super easy fruiting perennial! Only 1 left this year.

Soil: Ensure the soil is well-draining and rich in organic matter. A slightly acidic to neutral pH (around 5.5-6.5) is ideal for raspberries.

Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water deeply during dry spells, especially when the plants are establishing or producing fruit.

Fertilizing: Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring before new growth begins. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can lead to excessive vegetative growth at the expense of fruit production.

Mulching: Mulch around the base of the plants to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and regulate soil temperature. Organic mulches like straw or compost work well.Pruning: Prune raspberry bushes annually to encourage vigorous growth and better fruiting. Remove old, weak, or diseased canes and thin out crowded areas to improve airflow.

Harvesting: Harvest ripe raspberries gently to avoid damaging the delicate fruit. Raspberries are typically ready for harvest in early to late summer.
