Light: Most lime-colored coral bells thrive in part shade, where they receive morning sun and protection from intense afternoon heat. While they can tolerate full sun in northern climates, consistent moisture is crucial to prevent leaf scorch.

Soil: Coral bells require rich, humusy, well-drained soil. They do not tolerate poorly drained or waterlogged soil, especially in winter.
