Light: Burrow's tail succulents thrive in bright, indirect light or partial shade. They can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially morning sun or filtered light, but intense afternoon sun may scorch the delicate leaves.

Temperature: These succulents prefer temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C) during the growing season. They can tolerate higher temperatures as long as humidity is not excessive. Protect them from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).

Watering: Water Burrow's tail succulents thoroughly when the top inch or so of soil feels dry to the touch. Allow excess water to drain away completely, as they are susceptible to root rot if left sitting in water. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows down.

Soil: Plant Burrow's tail succulents in a well-draining succulent or cactus potting mix. A mixture that includes perlite or coarse sand helps improve drainage and prevents waterlogging.

Humidity: These succulents prefer average indoor humidity levels. They are adaptable to dry air conditions but may benefit from occasional misting in very dry environments, especially during winter.

Fertilizing: Feed Burrow's tail succulents lightly with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding or stop altogether in autumn and winter when growth slows down.

Potting and Repotting: Repot Burrow's tail succulents every 2-3 years in spring if they have outgrown their pot. Choose a slightly larger pot with drainage holes to accommodate the trailing stems. Handle the plant carefully to avoid damaging the delicate leaves.

Pruning: Prune Burrow's tail succulents sparingly to maintain their shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead or dried-out stems by cutting them back to the base with clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears.
